Enrolments and Acceptance

All enrolments are accepted subject to availability and the following terms and conditions.

Specific courses or funded programs may have additional eligibility or criteria which must also be met as applicable.

 

LWG Training staff are available to assist you identify which course or type of training is most suitable for your needs, and to discuss eligibility or prerequisites.

 


Recognition of Prior Learning

LWG Training can assist you to gain formal recognition for the skills and knowledge that you have already achieved.  RPL is a process that assesses the skills and knowledge attained through either work, studies or life experiences! RPL can be granted for partial or total completion of a qualification.  Assessment can be conducted at your workplace minimum disruption for business operations.

 


Special Needs

LWG Training aims to provide a personalised service and assist those with special needs including language, literacy and numeracy issues.  If you think you may need assistance please talk with our friendly staff.

 

Fees and Charges

·           Enrolment, Tuition and Resource Fees

·      All fees and charges payable will be confirmed prior to confirmation of enrolment.  Quotations remain valid for 60 days from issuance.

·      A minimum deposit of 15% of fees is required to secure your place upon confirmation of enrolment. 

·      Full payment of fees, up to a maximum of $500, is required prior to commencing a course, unless prior arrangements have been made.

·      Certificates or Statements of Attainment will not be issued until all fees are paid in full.

 

·           Replacement of Certificate or Statement of Attainment

Should you request a replacement of your qualification or statement of attainment, a $25.00 fee is payable prior to a replacement being issued.

 

Severe Financial Hardship

Should you consider yourself to be in severe financial hardship a payment plan, or a full or part fee exemption may be possible in specific circumstances.  Please contact our friendly staff prior to enrolling to discuss payment plans or exemptions.

 

Refunds Policy

Should LWG Training cancel or re-schedule a course to a time unsuitable to the participant, a full refund will be given.

 

·           Classroom based and Self paced training and learning

 

·      All cancellations or withdrawals from courses must be provided to LWG Training in writing, once enrolment has been accepted.

·      Participants notifying LWG Training of withdrawal or cancellation from a course more than 3 full working days prior to the course commencement date will be eligible for a refund of 80% of the course cost.

·      If 3 days or less notification is given 20% will be refunded.  If no notification is given prior to the course commencement date, or a participant withdraws after commencing training, no refund will apply.

·      If withdrawal or cancellation from a course is due to extenuating circumstances, please discuss with LWG Training staff.

 

·           Courses funded through Department of Training and Workforce Development

·      All cancellations or withdrawals from courses must be provided to LWG Training in writing, once enrolment has been accepted.

·      Requests for refunds must be lodged within 2 weeks of the official withdrawal date.

·      Participants who lodge a withdrawal form prior to, or within 4 weeks of commencing the course or before 25% of deliver has been concluded (whichever is sooner) will be eligible for a full refund of their course fee and 50% of the resource fee paid.

·      If withdrawal or cancellation from a course is due to extenuating circumstances, please discuss with LWG Training staff.

 

Grievance and Appeals Process

LWG Training complies with all relevant State and Federal legislation including the Equal Opportunities Act.  We listen seriously to any complaint a client may have, and we have in place a process to deal effectively and appropriately to resolve it. 

 

If you disagree with a decision relating to the assessment of a unit or course, an appeal must be lodged within 6 months.
